Bud Industries, Inc., a leading manufacturer of electronics enclosures, announces the appointment of Josiah A. Haas to the position of Director of Sales. Previously the company’s National Sales Manager, Haas will have oversight of Bud’s internal and external sales organizations, as well as a major role in the company’s strategic planning process. Bud offers a complete offering of electronics enclosures including plastic boxes, cabinet racks including server racks, several NEMA box lines, and accessories.
Haas is a graduate of Hawken School and Indiana University and is the fourth generation of the Haas family to work in Bud Industries’ management. Before joining the enclosure manufacturer, he had been working as an account manager at a Fortune 500 company that sells information technology and office equipment to businesses, where he successfully built million-dollar accounts. Bud president Blair Haas said it was important that Josiah obtain experience outside of the company.
Josiah Haas will be managing the sales department of a company with an extensive line of electronics enclosures built in a very broad range of styles and sizes, from small NEMA box enclosures to heavy-duty wall-mounted boxes.
In addition, Bud offers NEMA box waterproof enclosures for every need in die-cast aluminum, fiberglass, plastic and sheet metal in a wide variety of sizes and shapes.
Bud also has an extensive cabinet rack and server rack lines for 19-in. rack-mounted equipment in open and cabinet styles, from small table-top and wall-mounted boxes to large floor-mounted units, UL/NEMA12 cabinet racks certified to UL508 Type 12, and welded reinforced steel cabinet racks that offer seismic protection to Telcordia Zone 4 requirements.
These are among the more than 2,500 products that Bud offers, more than 90 percent of which are available for same-day shipment. The company also offers direct design support and an Enclosure Design Tips Handbook for creating optimal design and engineering solutions.
