Options for Your Aluminum Die Cast Enclosure
Bud’s line of die cast NEMA 4 aluminum enclosures includes a number of options. No matter what your specific needs are, we have an enclosure that will suit them perfectly.
Hinged Covers
Hinged covers are available for applications needing convenient access to the components inside. A good example of a hinged enclosure is our AN Series Hinged enclosure.
Shielded Gasket
Aluminum is an ideal material for EMI/RFI shielding, but to be assured of complete shielding, the gasket must be of a special type. Our ANS Series enclosure comes with a metal mesh gasket that extends the shielding across the seal.
Mounting Flanges
You may consider mounting flanges for your die cast aluminum box. Flanges enable easy mounting to a wall or machine, with the screw holes located outside of the sealed area. Our affordable CN Series aluminum die cast enclosure is available in a style having mounting flanges. The flanges are molded in at the time of manufacture. The flanges are on the base of the enclosure, so users can remove the cover without removing the enclosure from the wall.
Mounting Brackets
If an enclosure is not available in a flanged style, then separate mounting brackets are available as an accessory, such as this mounting bracket kit for our explosion-proof ATEX-rated enclosure.
What’s more, some models in our popular AN-A Series have tapped holes in the base that allow for wall mounting from the rear.
Some of our line of die cast aluminum enclosures, like the AN Hinged Series, come with an attractive powder coat finish. Others, like the IPS Series, come in raw aluminum for a no-frills NEMA-rated/IP-rated solution (although we may be able to powder coat them upon request.)
