The ATX Series ATEX rated enclosures protect the work space from sparks escaping your enclosed equipment and igniting the dust and gas in the environment.
These enclosures are designed for intermittent explosive atmospheres such as gas (Category II zones 1 and 2) and grain and conductive dust (Category III zones 21 and 22), but not for mining applications.
Made from heavy duty die cast aluminum, we have ten sizes available to meet a variety of component needs. The product is IP66 and NEMA Type 6P, providing significant water and corrosive protection. They are gray powder coated and have a service temperature range of -50°C to 135°C.
Optional accessories include aluminum mounting plates (that allow for easy installation of components without damaging the integrity of the box) and mounting brackets.
